Glossary

• Malignant - in reference to illness : uncontrolled, harmful.
• Hyperthermia: abnormally high body temperature, fever.
• Dantrolene: drug used for treatment.
• Intravenous administration: administration of a drug via injection.
• Acidosis: i.e metabolic, when the bloods pH increases due to abnormal homeostatis.
• Tachycardia: excessively rapid i.e heart rate.
• Gene: encodes for RNA synthesis for a particular character.  
• Anesthesia: used to create an insensibility to pain.
• Halothane: Gas often used in anesthesia today.
